CreativeMentor.com.au “The Concept”

Creativementor.com.au was born from the need of realworld people to understand a somewhat complex, yet fundamentally easy to understand publishing product “Adobe InDesign” on a need to know, how do I do it, and how do I do it now basis.

The aim of creativementor.com.au is to provide people with a quick, easy to understand, easy to digest and easy to apply 3 minute video tutorials that will improve their core InDesign skills. The idea is that most people will say they don’t have the time to sit down and take a chunk of their day to improve their skills, they have work to do, deadlines to meet, meetings to take place and so on. Creativementor.com.au will only take around three minutes of your time to show you something new and exciting in InDesign that will add to your core skills and take you to the next level.

Over time creativementor.com.au will have a comprehensive range of video tutorials covering most of the tools, features and workarounds that will always be a few clicks away. Soon creative mentor.com.au will be podcast through iTunes which will allow you to download and store all the video tutorials you watch here directly into iTunes.

About Neil Oliver

For over 10 years, Neil Oliver has throughout his career been a graphic designer, prepress operator, business owner of his own design studio, and now a training consultant of Adobe’s Creative Suite software. An Adobe Certified Expert in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator CS3, Neil is the Technical Training Consultant for one of Australia’s largest magazine publisher’s, the contributing author for CreativeMentor.com.au, and a member of the InDesign User Group Sydney chapter.
